Newbury Court Acquires Adjacent Land to Invest in the Future of Senior Living
Concord, MA, August 29, 2024 – The Newbury Court community is excited to announce the acquisition of 12 acres of land adjacent to its existing campus, previously owned by neighboring Emerson Hospital. This landmark purchase follows a comprehensive national marketing process that attracted a diverse pool of potential buyers.
For over a century, Newbury Court’s not-for-profit campus has been dedicated to serving older adults in the Concord community. This significant acquisition marks a transformative moment for Newbury Court, current residents, future residents, and the larger Concord community.

A detailed planning process will begin immediately. Newbury Court looks forward to engaging with the community and stakeholders throughout this process.
