Newbury Court was honored to host former Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China Nicholas Burns for discussion on the state of U.S.-China relations and what it means for the world. Burns served as the U.S. Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China from 2021-2025, leading public servants from forty-eight U.S. government agencies at the U.S. mission to China, and has served six United States presidents in his career.
At Newbury Court, Ambassador Burns shared key lessons from his time in Beijing, offering insights on navigating today’s complex geopolitical landscape, strengthening diplomacy, managing competition, and fostering a stable path forward.
