Concord, MA, August 15, 2025 – Newbury Court is excited to announce 25 recipients of its Residents’ Association Scholarship Program for the 2025-2026 Fall Semester.
The Newbury Court Scholarship Fund is sponsored entirely by Newbury Court residents and has existed for more than twenty years. The fund annually awards over $100,000 to current employees, hosting ceremonies for both Fall and Spring semesters. Funds are allocated based on both academic excellence and financial need, and recipients are selected by a Scholarship Committee consisting of seven Newbury Court residents: Sally Nash (Chair), Jake Brown (Vice-Chair), Lynne Stinson, Katharine Esty, Vic Goldberg, Jon Saphier, and Charlie Wright.
The recipients are all current employees of Newbury Court, working across eleven departments: Front of House, development, dining services, memory care, skilled nursing, rehab, resident health services, building services, fitness, marketing, and human resources. Their scholarships will help these employees to earn certifications and degrees from both public and private universities.
Committee Chair Sally Nash, described the purpose of the Resident’s Association Scholarship Program, “Twice a year our Newbury Court residents award scholarships to deserving staff members and encourage them to fulfill their academic dreams without the fear of overwhelming debt.”
