Continuing a Father’s Legacy

Attending a Parkinson’s support group led Bob and Patty Fraser to Newbury Court. “I’m so grateful Bob pushed us to move here when we did,” Patty admits. “His disease progressed quite quickly at the end.”

“I recently asked my daughter how she would sum up my life before Newbury Court. She said, ‘I think of three C’s: community, creativity, and caring.’ She put it well. I was active in those areas in Acton and Boxborough, and now all those things are thriving and being nurtured at Newbury Court.”

Patty became the newest member of The 1889 Society Committee right after making her planned gift commitment. “My buddies, Bo Grove and Jake Brown, helped me decide it was time,” she chuckles. “I enjoy the people on the committee.”
